Effect of nanochitosan and biocapsules on growth, yield and quality of red okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) var. Kashi Lalima

An Experiment on okra was conducted throughout August to Nov 2021, in horticulture Research field, Department of Horticulture, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture, and Technology & Sciences Prayagraj (U.P) India. The results the investigation, concerning performance Nanochitosan Biocapsule within 9 treatment Red Okra i.e. To Control (NPK): 100:50:50 Kg/ha, T1 250 ppm, T2 500 T3 50 T4 100 T5 50ppm + T6 T7 ppm T8 ppm. seed obtained from source IIVR Varanasi. find out best terms growth, yield quality. experiment Randomized Block design, were each replicated thrice current investigation concluded that (Nanochitosan ppm) recorded with maximum number fruits (20.37 fruits/plant), average fruit weight (14.22 gm), also (143.13q/ha) Benefit cost ratio 2.88 whereas quality TSS (3.94⁰Bx) 100ppm Ascorbic acid (21.38 mg/100 g).
